Forged to Stand Out

A bold visual identity built around form, light, and a single golden idea.

The Campaign BIG Awards celebrate standout creative across the industry - and for 2024, we built a world where even the simplest shape could carry dramatic weight.

I led the creative direction from concept through delivery, developing two main phases: a promotional campaign to tease the theme, and a full awards package for the event itself - including opener, walk-in, looping backgrounds, and bespoke show assets.

The concept: a modular world of concrete and gold cubes. Often static and grounded, but always holding the potential for something extraordinary. A single gold cube became the symbol of creative excellence - rising, floating, or spotlighted within dramatic, cinematic compositions.

A World Built from Contrast.

The show opener set the tone — drawing inspiration from sci-fi cinematography and using lighting, scale, and sound to turn a single cube into a symbol of impact. Backed by a dreamlike hip-hop track that builds to a slow-burn climax, the piece was designed to feel big, sharp, and unexpected.

Launching the Look

The promotional phase leaned into texture and mystery - teasing the form and tone of the awards identity before the full picture was revealed. I created web headers and motion assets for social, email, and digital advertising, using the same visual language: concrete texture, crisp movement, and strategic gold highlights.

The Work in Action

To capture the energy of the night, I created a short highlights edit that featured footage from the awards evening — including winner reactions, interviews, and crowd shots. While simple, it helped bring everything full circle, showing how the visual identity carried through to the real-world experience.
