Framing the Pour

Sourglass is a conceptual beer created by Lewis Moberly as part of the global Make a Mark initiative - a brief inviting studios to explore sustainability, storytelling, and innovation in packaging design.

I was brought in to craft a short promotional film that would translate the brand’s unique mindset into motion. From storyboarding to final delivery, I led the creative direction and animation — designing a visual rhythm that echoed Sourglass’s quiet confidence and slow-drinking ritual.

Translating Identity into Motion

This film was all about restraint. Motion was used sparingly to give the design space to breathe - nothing rushed, everything intentional. The pacing reflects the essence of Sourglass: calm, confident, and quietly bold.

Shaping the Story

From early sketches to the final piece, the process was focused on letting the brand shine. I developed the storyboard and style frames to define the tone, crafting transitions that felt fluid and purposeful. The result is a piece that supports the product without overpowering it.
